HeyGen Voice is HeyGen’s in-house voice model. It learns one speaker’s voice, then speaks your text in that voice. Make a voice in one of two modes; both speak through the same endpoints.

Send your API key in the
X-Api-Key header; create one in the API keys page. Voices belong to the workspace that created them.
Voice slots
A professional voice beyond the workspace’s slot limit, for example after a slot add-on lapses, returns
voice_expired on speech. Add a slot or delete another professional voice and it works again immediately.
The voice catalog
The voice catalog (/v3/voices) is a separate surface: 300+ stock voices and designed voices. Catalog voices speak through Third Party Speech, which also runs on the HeyGen Voice engine, and in POST /v3/videos. HeyGen Voice voice_ids speak through Text to Speech.
